Case Cutlery Astronaut Knife Model M1 2019 Apollo Space Program Survival Machete

This special reproduction is made to be as close to the original Case M-1s as possible in todays Case factory. The original Case Astronaut Knife M-1s traveled to the Moon and back nine times as part of a survival pack on board the spacecraft used in every Gemini (1962-66) and Apollo (1961-75) space mission led by NASA.

Each knife is consecutively serialized. Case Cutlery's Astronaut Knife comes in a presentation box with Certificate of Authenticity. Made from heavy gauge Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel with an As-Ground finish.

The Astronaut Knife has an 11.75 in. Machete blade with a double row of sawteeth on the spine.

Smooth white synthetic handles with brass rivets make for a full-handed grip. Overall length of 17.5 in. With a weight of just 7.5 oz.
