Omega Caliber 561 Vintage Automatic Constellation Chronometer 168.005 Mens Watch

1966 Vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer officially certified 168.005 Cal. Excellent example keeping time extremely well.

I have worn this watch everyday for the past 2 weeks and its absolutely keeping time extremely well. Over the two weeks I only wound the watch and set the date and time prior wearing it. Its lost 1 minute in 2 weeks. I never wound the watch in that time and relied on the automatic to do its job. The date changed over as it should also.

This watch attracted so much attention from many people and watch enthusiasts everyday! 1966 is based on the serial number search and the rare Caliber 561.

The plexiglass is original and has the Omega logo that is visible on an angle near the center. The plexiglass also has scratches that may or may not polish out. The movement received an complete clean and service a few years ago by the previous owner and is reflected in the near perfect time keeping and clean problem free movement. The case has been taken care of as can be seen in pictures. To me the dial looks original however one person that admired the watch told me the dial has had work done.

I have taken close up pictures for you to decide. He tells me the Swiss Made is painted on and it shouldnt look painted. The band is a relatively new NON omega black leather band. Let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best as I only know the basics.
